This is for Josh Frost's book. 100 Ways to the Dark Side. My interpretation of Darth Vader if he was part of the hip-hop generation.

New character for class
Here is my new character for 3D Character Design & Setup. I will post progress as I progress.
Here is the backstory I had to develop to go along with her:
My characters name is Paula. She is an aspiring singer, actress, and dancer. She is a true triple threat (or at least that is her goal). American Idol has come to town, and what are the odds that she would have the same name as one of the judges. OMG Paula meet Paula. Paula has been dancing since childhood. Her mother paid for modeling school, head shots and years of dance lessons. Singing is her latest passion and unlike many other contestants she can really blow. Her family and friends have told her so. Paula paid for a video demo of her talents, but only received one copy on a beta max tape. She can't find a machine to play it and neither can any of the places she wants to mail it to.
That being said, this is her moment. Fame is at hand and she can fell the judges good will, the designer clothes, the marketing blitz and the men rolling in. There has never been a better time for this 25 year old to seize the moment and live her dream. Paula even went shopping for this occasion. A stylist at the local Petite Sophisticate suggested this would be a good look for her when asked. Her confidence is brimming over and her song of the day is "Single Ladies" by her idol Beyonce. Wish her luck!

TF - Blob

As a kid I always projected human qualities to inanimate object. I used to think gum resented being thrown away. Here is gum's way of getting back at us... by becoming a messy "blob" stuck to our shoe.
